Breast Augmentation

Many women are unhappy with the size or shape of their breasts, often due to genetics, pregnancy or weight loss. Breast augmentation is a popular procedure designed to improve the shape as well as increase the size of the breasts through the use of implants. The aim is to create natural-looking breasts with a long-lasting outcome and patients generally have a very high level of satisfaction following this procedure.

The operation is tailored to your individual requirements, including the dimensions of your breasts and body, your tissue characteristics and your preferred outcome. The appropriate incision location, implant and implant position is chosen to achieve the desired result.

Your breast augmentation procedure will be performed under general anesthesia and dissolvable stitches will be used. Recovery is usually quick and within a day or two you can return to light activities, with return to aerobic activities at 4 weeks. Future changes in breast appearance may change due to pregnancy, weight fluctuations or the normal ageing process.
